Kento) has decided to hold an illumination event during the winter period from Saturday, November 16, 2024 to mid-March 2025.
Approximately 300,000 dazzling lights decorate Okinawa’s winter, creating a splendid special night at the hotel. On the first day, November 16th (Saturday), in addition to the illumination lighting ceremony, there will also be artist live performances and a fireworks display.

The “Moonlit Wonder Illumination” commemorating the 2nd anniversary of the hotel’s opening is an illumination event devised with the hope that guests can enjoy their stay in Okinawa to the fullest even during the winter months when swimming is not possible. Illuminations will be held on a vast site, with a pool area of approximately 10,000 square meters and a main area of approximately 4,000 square meters. A light and sound show takes place on a sparkling moonlit night and a sea of light, and Ryukyu Castle, a temple of the moon, spreads out on Meijo Beach, where sea turtles come to lay their eggs, leading visitors to a fantastical world. Additionally, we will set up a variety of spots where you can experience an immersive experience through moonlit nights and light effects. Seasonal special events such as Christmas are also planned during the illumination period.
Approximately 300,000 illuminations decorate the vast main area and one of the largest pool areas in the prefecture.

The main area, located on the south wing side of the hotel, is approximately 4,000 square meters of lush nature, and as the sun sets, it transforms into a fantastic space with a magnificent symphony of light and sound. The countless lights spread across the area shine like waves, giving you a mysterious feeling as if you were floating in an ocean of light. In addition, in the center of the area, Ryukyu Castle, a magnificent moon temple measuring 34 meters long and 7 meters high, will appear, captivating everyone with its overwhelming beauty and fantastic atmosphere. You can also enjoy watching the lights and music come together, the colors changing according to the performance, and taking photos at numerous photo spots where you can experience an immersive experience.
