1. Noise/vibration measurement
We measure the building’s intended use, generated volume, and sound insulation performance.
Impacts to the floor can be detected using a device called a tapping machine, which generates a lightweight impact sound similar to the sound of high heels, and a device called a bang machine or impact ball, which generates a heavy impact sound similar to the sound of a child jumping. Evaluate the sound generated on the lower floor when an impact is applied to the floor.
