POLS 2025SS TRANSIT
POLS creates its own collection of textiles each season and releases clothing featuring them. Working with Hokkaido-born textile designer Kanako Kajiwara, we are working on challenging creations. In particular, the seasonal order event aims to create slow fashion that addresses the “overstock problem” in the apparel industry by producing and delivering items according to the number of orders received from individuals. The optimal production volume minimizes excess inventory that accumulates at brands and shops, allowing us to continue manufacturing products with a low environmental impact. POLS 2025 Spring/Summer Collection
“25SS – TRANSIT -” This season’s collection includes tops/bottoms, etc. Consists of 4 types (2 to 3 colors each) and bags. The first released body bag has a jacquard weave on the belt. The original Banshu-ori jacquard is manufactured using textile techniques such as fringe cutting techniques and gradation high-density fabrics. For those who have purchased in the past, we will send a direct mail with a textile attached. This time, we will add artwork stickers.

About “POLS”
In 2015, we launched the Banshu-ori brand POLS in collaboration with Maruman Co., Ltd. and textile designer Kanako Kajiwara. The concept is to spread the joy of textiles, focusing on items made with jacquard weaving. The product line started with scarves, and in 2018, with the addition of patterner and designer Yuko Miyamoto, they began producing clothing in earnest. By producing and delivering seasonal collections according to the number of individual orders, we will continue to create products that take into account the apparel industry’s “overstock problem.” In 2021, we renovated the 1st floor of our Osaka building and began operating our first sales store, “Poll Store Osaka”. Port Store Osaka will be open for one week during the last week of the month, and will host guest brands each time for sales activities.

About Maruman Co., Ltd.
We manufacture and sell Banshu-ori textile products in Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture. Founded in 1902, the company created the beginning of the production area by introducing many jacquard looms at the dawn of the production area. They were among the first to introduce mechanical looms and worked hard to popularize them, creating an era of mass production and high-quality manufacturing from the 1970s to the 1990s. Currently, although the production volume has decreased, they have established their own jacquard technology and are producing materials that support high-maison brands both domestically and internationally.
