This event has been held every year for over 20 years as an event for children, with the hope that it will inspire children to aspire to a medical career in the future.
(Excluding the coronavirus pandemic), this is a popular event that has received many applications. This was the last event to be held at the current hospital, as the hospital is scheduled to move to an adjacent location and open in June 2025.
The students had a simulated experience using the equipment used for examinations and tests in actual medical settings, while learning about its mechanisms and job details.

・I was happy to be able to tour the inside of Kahoku General Hospital. Also, this event made me realize once again that human life is important.
・I was surprised that the Kenbi mirror could be made 1000 times more powerful. The people at Echo Taiken were interesting. I wondered how he would be able to breathe during the endoscopy.
・I want to become a Shorai Kangoshi, but I thought it would be good to experience it.
・It was fun and interesting to be able to touch and use equipment that normally cannot be touched or used.
・Through this experience, I was able to learn more about medicines and equipment. I was originally interested in medicine, but after learning a lot of things this time, I became even more interested in becoming a pharmacist.

・Thank you very much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to prepare for the children. The content was so valuable and interesting that I wish I had experienced something like this when I was a child! It was hard to imagine anything other than the work of doctors and nurses, and I didn’t have the opportunity to see or hear anything other than the work of doctors and nurses, so I got a real sense of how many different people work together as a team to provide treatment at the hospital. It was a wonderful project for the future of our children. thank you very much! !
・My child said that he was not good with blood, so I was worried at first whether he would be able to enjoy it, but even though he said he was not good with blood, he seemed to be having fun asking questions on his own.
・Although I had heard about the details of the work, being able to actually tour the workplace and listen to the stories was a valuable opportunity to feel closer to the hospital. I thought it would be great if there was a tour of the new hospital for adults, such as at the Kahoku Health School. thank you very much.
・The child who was not enthusiastic at first said, “Today is fun!” Thank you very much for this precious opportunity.
