“What is the learning that high school students need now?” High school students have started a collaboration with ISHIYA/UCC Japan to protect Sapporo’s environment!
*Sapporo Tsukisamu High School and two companies started a total of 14 workshops. Dialogue and collaborate with companies on actions to protect the environment. *
In 2023, high school students sent a video message to Sapporo Mayor Akimoto. The general incorporated association SWiTCH (hereinafter referred to as SWiTCH) is the “BEING” inquiry learning project of Hokkaido Sapporo Tsukisamu High School.
ALIVE”, we held an interactive workshop on sustainability in collaboration with Ishiya Seika Co., Ltd. (ISHIYA) and UCC Japan Co., Ltd.
From September 2024 to February 2025, a total of 14 workshops will be held in which high school students and corporate sustainability representatives will have direct dialogue to explore environmental contribution actions that high school students can take. February 19, 2025AOAO
We will be presenting at HOKKAIDO INNOVATION WEEK to be held at SAPPORO. BEING ALIVE, an inquiry learning project that considers social issues Hokkaido Sapporo Tsukisamu High School is holding an inquiry learning project called “BEING” that considers social issues with the theme “What kind of learning is necessary for high school students today?” ALIVE” is being implemented. The purpose of this project is for high school students to discover the learning they need and the themes they should cover by interacting with various instructors invited from outside, including researchers, practitioners, and artists. Saza was invited as a lecturer (see Hokkaido Sapporo Tsukisamu High School website).
SWiTCH will continue to “BEING” in 2024.
We decided to cooperate with “ALIVE”. Furthermore, by collaborating with ISHIYA, a well-known local company in Hokkaido, and UCC Japan Co., Ltd., known for its advanced sustainability initiatives, we aim to encourage high school students to develop a broader perspective on environmental issues and take action.

In February 2024, a dialogue and report meeting between Mayor Akimoto, local businesses, and young people will be held.
