Airi Shirahoshi (22), the pink member of peco (Ideal Peco), held her first birthday festival as an idol at CreAto in Ebisu.
Shirahoshi has been a die-hard Saitama Seibu Lions fan ever since he was a child, watching not only the first team’s games but also the second team’s games on his days off, keeping a scorebook. There were so many fans in uniforms rushing to the venue to celebrate her that it was hard to believe it was an idol concert.
Before the performance, a medley of songs performed by Lions players was played on the floor. Then, at 7pm, the show started with Hakuboshi’s energetic shout of “Play Ball!”. Shirahoshi appeared in a new birthday costume for this day, with the number 7 and the word “AIRI” written on his back. The MC said, “We’re wearing the number of player Kaneko, who recently announced his retirement!The color is the traditional Lions blue used in the actual uniform, making it a cheerleader-like costume!” It gave a strong sense of her commitment as a “shishi-onna” (a general term for female Lions fans).
The commitment doesn’t end with just the costumes. In the following solo singing corner, the official song of the Japan Baseball Organization “Dream” was performed.

Furthermore, at the end of the encore, he took it upon himself to perform the Lions’ cheering song “Chance Theme 4,” which he had announced on SNS a few days ago, “I’m going to do this, so remember it!” The fans and members who had prepared in response to Hakusei’s request got involved and sang Chance Theme 4 in chorus. At the end, there was a continuous jump with clapping and angry waves. The floor instantly transformed into the outfield stands of the stadium, and the birthday celebration ended in an atmosphere of excitement and unity.

Regarding this birthday festival, Hakuboshi said, “I wanted to make it a birthday celebration that only I could do! I packed a lot of my love for baseball and Lions! Lately, some baseball fans have come to my live concerts because of my SNS. On the other hand, members and fans who had no interest in baseball are now saying they want to go to the baseball stadium.I want to continue spreading my love for baseball and the Lions! “My dream is to throw out the first pitch at Belluna Dome (home of the Lions),” he said with a smile.
