The pottery company Takedoen Co., Ltd. is located in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, the town of pottery.
In 2024, when we will celebrate our 100th anniversary, we will release the long-awaited second installment of the Katamukete Series. We will be selling “Dog Tea Bowl”. Pre-sale starts from 12:00 on Thursday, September 12, 2024 from Makuake.

In order to create a bowl suitable for dogs while maintaining the functionality of the “Neko Tea Bowl”, we spent a year carefully searching for the optimal shape by repeating shape prototypes and usage tests. In addition, we have incorporated the “memory
function”, which was the most requested feature from pet owners, so you can check at a glance the amount of food that is appropriate for your dog.
This is a separate food bowl with a separate bowl and base, so you can eat at the angle that suits your dog. The design is also friendly to owners, as it reduces the hassle of washing up after use. This is the only vessel in the world where you can also put the name of your precious dog.

Takedoen is particular about its raw materials and selects high-quality soil. The fine-textured soil with low iron content is suitable for making tableware, so it can be safely used by dogs and cats.
The painting of the Katamukete series is done using a technique called “copperplate”. The glass glaze is also applied by skilled craftsmen. Although the pieces are fired in a large kiln, each piece is carefully inspected by the person in charge even after it is fired.
Since they are separate, washing is minimal. Only the bowl is dishwasher safe◎
