Release of portable vibration calibrator software “9140D”
*~Completely automates frequency calibration of vibration sensors, making on-site calibration of vibration measurements even more efficient~*
Toyo Technica Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director and President: Toshiya Kono, hereinafter referred to as Toyo Technica Co., Ltd.)
Toyo Technica) will start selling the portable vibration calibrator software “9140D” on September 5, 2024. This product is manufactured by The Modal
This product was newly developed by Shop, and when combined with the existing portable vibration calibrator “9110D”, it can fully automate the calibration work of vibration sensors such as accelerometers and speedometers, and the time required for calibration is as short as 1 minute. , contributes to reducing work man-hours.
Configuration combined with portable vibration calibrator “9110D” (left) * [Background/Summary]*
In recent years, the demand for vibration measurement has been rapidly increasing in the automobile, industrial equipment, and energy fields for purposes such as evaluating product reliability and comfort and monitoring the condition of equipment. Vibration sensors such as accelerometers and speedometers used for vibration measurement are required by standards to strictly control the quality of the sensors in order to ensure measurement reliability. As the demand for vibration measurement increases, sensor quality control becomes more complex, and at the sites where vibration measurement is actually performed, it has become a challenge to easily and quickly perform sensor calibration work.
Generally, vibration sensors such as accelerometers and speedometers are calibrated by excitation at multiple frequency points. The newly released software “9140D” allows the portable vibration calibrator “9110D” to be controlled from a PC, making it possible to
automatically perform calibration at predefined frequency points. This allows frequency calibration to be completed in as little as one minute, further streamlining sensor calibration work at vibration measurement sites. Also, ISO
Calibration certificates in a format compliant with 17025 can also be issued, making it easier to centrally manage calibration data. By providing this portable vibration calibrator software “9140D” in combination with the vibration calibrator “9110D,” Toyo Technica will contribute to improving the efficiency and reducing costs of development operations in the automobile, industrial equipment, and power industries. .
