*“NEYAGAWA DRIVE ROCK FES.”, a new form of traffic safety awareness created by a driving school*

“Neyagawa Driving School” (commonly known as “Neyadora”, located in Neyagawa City, Osaka Prefecture), which carries out various initiatives that are not typical of a driving school, is based on the concept of “a driving school that you don’t want to graduate from.” Outdoor music festival “NEYAGAWA
DRIVE ROCK FES.” (Neyagawa Drive Rock Festival) will be held. *
■The training course where training cars usually run has been transformed into a one-day outdoor music festival venue!
The event was planned as a traffic safety awareness event in conjunction with the Autumn National Traffic Safety Campaign, which begins on September 21st. The aim is to convey the importance of road safety to younger generations through a music festival that anyone can attend with free admission.
Many artists active in the live house scene will perform, including the local band “the paddles” from Neyagawa City. FM802 DJ will be the event MC
We will also have a traffic safety talk show with Yusuke Hatano and Koji Karasuga of the Paddles.
■Background of the event
* The reason behind the event is the desire to contribute to reducing the number of traffic accidents caused by young people. *
According to statistical data released by the National Police Agency, most traffic accidents occur among people in their teens to early 20s. The number of traffic accidents per 100,000 license holders for drivers of mopeds and above (first party) is the highest for those aged 16 to 19 at 1025.3, followed by those aged 20 to 24 at 589.5.

*“Moped and above” refers to drivers of cars, motorcycles, and motorized bicycles. *The “first party” refers to the person most at fault among the parties involved in the accident.
Many young people come to our company to obtain new driver’s licenses, and we teach them the importance of traffic safety through daily lessons.
but,
1. * There are few contacts after graduating from driving school * 2. * We have no contact with anyone who has not taken training at our company *
3. *Even if we hold events related to traffic safety, it is difficult to get the younger generation interested.*
There were three issues.
We wondered if there was anything we could do as a designated driving school to convey the importance of safe driving to more young people.
At Neyadora, the relationship between instructors and trainees is not one of those who teach and those who are taught.*
Our ideal training is to stand on the same page and “worry together, overcome together, and rejoice together”. *
It says, “Driving is a matter of life, so it’s natural to give proper guidance, but no matter how much you say “drive safely” from above, it’s meaningless if it doesn’t resonate with people! ‘Because there is a feeling.
Therefore, in the area of traffic safety awareness, instead of imposing information on people unilaterally, we thought it would be possible to hold an event where we can “have fun and learn together” from the same point of view, so we decided to plan a “music festival at a driving school.” Ta.
By capturing the interests and concerns of the younger generation and providing opportunities to think about traffic safety and safe driving, we will contribute to the realization of a safe
transportation society.
