*Work towards SDGs while having fun through connections with people* HINOMIRA, a high school student team creating a sustainable future for Hino
HINOMIRA, a team of high school students who are creating a
sustainable future for Hino, is working on the SDGs in partnership with citizens, organizations, companies, etc., considering what initiatives are currently needed from the perspective of high school students.
As part of our efforts, we will be exhibiting various booths at the SDGs Festival, which will be held at Aeon Mall Tamadaira no Mori (2-4-1 Tamadaira, Hino City) from September 13th (Friday) to September 25th (Wednesday).
The two events planned by Hinomira members had the theme of “Working on the SDGs while having fun through connections between people,” and the things and people encountered here will help shape the future of the visitors. We think we can make it even better.
We understand that you are busy, but we would like to invite you to interview the challenges faced by the students who will lead the next generation. We would like to inform you as follows.
■Voices from Hinomira members
The idea for the project “Barter Guruguru Market – Circulation of Things and Thoughts” came from the issue of “food loss,” where food is still edible but is thrown away at restaurants that I frequent. Because I learned that.
We planned this event because we wanted to make it possible for someone to turn an unnecessary item into something valuable for someone else.
I hope this will give you an opportunity to think about the things and people you encounter in your daily life.
