*About “Halloween Fair”*
A popular annual event at Yunomori Hotel Shidodaira. During this period, every part of the building will be decorated with Halloween decorations. Dining venue “Live×Buffet”
At Hikari no Mori, you will find dishes shaped like ghosts. We offer a variety of Halloween dishes, including last year’s popular specialty dishes “Roast Beef,” “Salmon and Salmon Roe Cooked Rice,” and “Cold Squid Ink Pasta.” There are many events outside of the dining hall, so please come and enjoy it with your family.

“Live×Buffet” opened in 2020
Yunomori Hotel Shidodaira is improving and evolving every day, including “Hikari no Mori” and “Hidakami no Yu”, a valley large communal bath that was renovated last year and added a Finnish-style sauna with a celluloid sauna. A Christmas fair will be held from around mid-November, and in December of this year, the mountain stream large communal bath “Tenkawa no Yu” will be renovated, and the lounge will be maintained and illuminated at night so that you can enjoy the scenery even more from the mountain stream lounge. We are planning to. Please look forward to it.

Live×Buffet “Hikari no Mori”
* [What is Live×Buffet “Hikari no Mori”…]*
This is the dining venue of Yunomori Hotel Shidodaira, which operates under the concept of “Food entertainment that will make your heart sing.A new sensation buffet restaurant.”
As you walk through the hallway, which resembles a dark forest, you will find a large symbolic tree filled with light, and around the tree are many cooks flexing their skills. This is a restaurant themed around light and forests that tells a story like this.
This is a buffet restaurant where almost all of the dishes are served freshly prepared in an open kitchen. The restaurant also has an exciting atmosphere where you never know what will happen, such as a fresh fish dissection show that suddenly starts during business hours, and a limited offer of “specialty” dishes, which are the chef’s signature dishes.
We offer approximately 100 dishes for dinner and over 60 dishes for breakfast, so you may not be able to enjoy all of them at once, but we hope you find your favorite dish.

An accommodation facility based on the concept of “liberation from everyday life” and provides experiential value to the extraordinary through mountain stream resort hotels. A new buffet restaurant was established in July 2020. The lobby lounge will be renovated in October 2021. In 2022, a total of 35 guest rooms will be renovated, and in November 2023, the large public bath “Hidakami no Yu” will be renovated and a new cave sauna will be installed. We have undergone various renovations and are taking on the challenge of providing excitement to our customers.
