What is “Children’s Hometown Express”?
Our company is a start-up company that aims to eliminate the opportunity gap for children. To date, we have built a system to provide food to children’s cafeterias and single-parent households facing difficulties, and have worked to implement this system in society.

The recently officially launched “Kodomo Furusato-bin” is a new food bank system that uses corporate hometown tax payments as a source of funding and works with local governments and food-related businesses to support children’s cafeterias and families with children and children who are experiencing difficulties. .
Overall scheme of “Children’s Hometown Express”
Last year, we conducted an experimental project operation in Miura City and Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and confirmed its effectiveness. In addition to last year’s participating local governments, Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture, we also collaborated with Asahikawa City, Hokkaido, to provide children with support for children. We will begin the food assistance project in earnest.

At the beginning stage, there are two participating local governments, but discussions are underway to collaborate with multiple local governments in order to greatly expand the circle of support for children.
“Children’s Hometown Express” project
Contributing to achieving SDGs through “Children’s Hometown Express” “Children’s Hometown Express” allows you to contribute to achieving various SDGs.

* 1. Support for children and families raising children *
By providing a fulfilling diet, including fresh food, to children’s cafeterias and families with children and children who are
experiencing difficulties, we provide financial and emotional support and help create a society where people can stay healthy both physically and mentally.

*2. Contributing to reducing food loss *
As part of our support, we will reduce food loss by using substandard vegetables, unused fish, and products from companies that are on the verge of food loss. It also helps realize a sustainable society by reducing greenhouse gas emissions generated by burning waste food.

*3. Support for producers *
By purchasing fresh foods for support while also making use of substandard vegetables and unused fish, we support the lives and activities of producers, protect the richness of nature, and increase the satisfaction of work, helping to support local communities. We create a place where people can work.

*4. Collaboration and relationship building with local governments * We will promote the project based on an effective public-private partnership between companies and local governments who are the executive committee of “Children’s Hometown Flight” and build a collaborative system.
Going forward, we will continue to strive to realize our vision of “eliminate the disparity in opportunities for children” by implementing various children and childcare support projects in society, following “Kodomo Furusatobin.”

Partnership to expand support
*1. Recruiting supporter companies to support us through corporate hometown tax payments*
In order to expand the amount of support, we are looking for companies to support this project through the corporate version of hometown tax. Supporter companies can contribute to achieving various SDGs by supporting “Kodomo Furusatobin”. In addition, by utilizing the corporate hometown tax system, you can make these social contributions while receiving a tax reduction of up to 90% of the donation amount (normally 60%, special measures until FY2020).

*2. Recruiting participating local governments and companies for executive committee members*
In order to enhance the supply of relief supplies and expand the areas supported, we are looking for local governments to launch the “Children’s Hometown Delivery” project and companies to serve as members of the executive committee who can play a role in connecting food to aid recipients. I’m doing it.
We believe that it is possible to create a sustainable system because it is funded by hometown tax payments and allows people to participate in support without any financial burden.
