Started providing EC platform “BigCommerce” API collaboration function with advertising operation automation tool “Shirofune”
*Automatically analyze and visualize LTV and CPO (cost per new customer acquisition) from EC sites built with BigCommerce. Ad operations that lead to new customer acquisition and sales for EC businesses with predictive LTV and real-time optimization*
Shirofune Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo)
(Representative: Mitsunaga Kikuchi) has started providing an API collaboration function with the e-commerce platform “BigCommerce” using the advertising operation automation tool “Shirofune”.
As a result, LTV and CPO (cost per new customer acquisition) for each advertising medium, campaign, and creative can be automatically calculated based on order data collected from BigCommerce using Shirofune’s automatic parameter analysis algorithm for measuring advertising effectiveness. At the same time as visualization, it becomes possible to automatically optimize advertising operations based on that data.
Additionally, this feature is available to all Shirofune users (including those on a free trial) without any additional usage fees. API integration with global e-commerce platform following Shopify BigCommerce is an e-commerce platform that is said to be used by 55,000 e-commerce stores in 150 countries around the world. This feature was mainly developed for the purpose of deployment on the English version of Shirofune, but it is also used by Japanese corporations that adopt BigCommerce as an e-commerce platform when expanding overseas, and Japanese agents who support overseas clients using BigCommerce. In anticipation of demand in stores and
BigCommerce’s future expansion into the Japanese market, we have decided to start providing this function on the Japanese version of Shirofune as well.

Automatically optimize subsequent advertising operations based on results that led to new customer acquisition with high LTV
With conventional one-time CPA and ROAS standards, evaluation and optimization was conducted in a short period of time, not only with new customers but also with existing customers who may purchase without advertising. By using the long-term performance such as CPO and LTV calculated from BigCommerce data and the predicted LTV derived from there, we can automatically perform evaluations and optimizations that will lead to acquiring new customers with high chances of repeat and increasing sales, and reduce advertising costs. The effectiveness will also increase.
Integration with each advertising medium is completed in just a few minutes of setup. No need to upload data or use other tools. Store-level API obtained with BigCommerce
Simply enter and authenticate your access token and store name (~.myBigCommerce.com) on the settings screen to complete API collaboration with Shirofune, and information collaboration will begin automatically.
There is no need to upload sales data or use other tools. Also, as long as basic UTM parameters are assigned, there is no need to install new tags or assign parameters, and it can be used immediately.
Calculating CPO and LTV from sales data of e-commerce sites such as BigCommerce and reflecting it in optimization of advertising operations and building an environment required a lot of knowledge, man-hours, and the use of multiple tools, making it difficult even for experienced users. This feature makes it easy for many people to take advantage of this effective operating environment.
Reference: Difference between CPA/ROAS standards and LTV/CPO standards * CPA/ROAS criteria → Evaluate media A*
*
Advertising cost 1 million yen, sales 1.5 million yen, ROAS 150% Evaluations are made without taking into consideration the ratio of existing/new users to sales, or how many new users who come in then repeat and how much sales they ultimately generate.
*LTV/CPO criteria → Evaluate medium B*
-Media A-
Advertising cost 1 million yen, sales 2 million yen, ROAS 200% New user sales 1 million yen New user ROAS 100%
Total LTV 3 million yen Lifetime ROAS 300%
* -Media B- ←*
* Advertising cost 1 million yen, sales 1.5 million yen, ROAS 150%* * New user sales 1.3 million yen New user ROAS 130%*
* Total LTV 4 million yen Lifetime ROAS 400%*
Cleared the bottlenecks in CPA/ROA standards. Also, if you look at LifetimeROAS, you can see how much of the advertising expenses you have spent are actually being recovered, which is very useful as a basis for determining whether to increase or decrease advertising expenses.
