Kiuchi Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. (Naka City, Ibaraki Prefecture) will be selling “Classic Stout”, a whiskey barrel-aged stout beer brewed at Nukata Brewery and aged in Islay casks, in limited quantities and exclusively at directly managed stores from mid-September.
This stout beer has a rich malt flavor and is aged for about a month in smoky whiskey barrels that were used to mature Islay whiskey (Islay malt).
In addition to the smoky aroma derived from barrels and the richness of malt, the alcohol content is 4%, allowing you to enjoy a light drink.
The package is based on a deep red color reminiscent of a barrel, and the glossy champagne-colored logo expresses the fragrant smoky flavor and lightness.

Hitachino Nest Beer began production in 1996.
In 2007, we established the Nukata Brewery in what is now Nakata, Naka City, Ibaraki Prefecture to establish a mass production system for beer. Currently, we are producing over 15 types of Hitachino Nest Beer at any given time, producing approximately 3000KL of beer annually, and approximately 50% of this is shipped overseas.
