In the spring of 2021, famous facilities in the Ueno area of Tokyo gathered together for a 10-day facility tour event to revitalize the city of Ueno, which is suffering from the coronavirus pandemic. Its name is “Sa Mystery!?” The response to the event was overwhelming, and we received many requests to hold it again. Therefore, in October 2024, [participating facilities will increase to 8 facilities], [Sa Mystery! ? [The prizes are even more luxurious], [It’s easier to play around than ever], and Sa Mystery!? is back with an updated version. [Image 1
Sa Mystery!? is a travel, application-type event where you visit famous facilities around Ueno multiple times, answer quizzes posted at the facilities, and enter to win gorgeous prizes. It was held in 2021 and 2022 and was a great success with a large number of participants and applications. Originally, the idea was to work together to revive the town of Ueno, which had lost its vitality due to the frequent refraining from going out during the coronavirus pandemic, which hit not only sauna facilities but also restaurants and accommodation facilities. This was the beginning of the event. Although multiple facilities were originally rivals, they joined hands during the event period, and the event became a cohesive event in which both parties hoped to attract customers.

We collaborated with Ueno Marui for the first time in 2022’s Sa Mystery!? and opened the Sa Mystery!? POP UP STORE. The store received a huge response from its opening, selling a variety of sauna goods as well as Sa Mystery!? original goods, and with famous managers from each facility also present at the sales floor, it became a store that you could enjoy just by visiting, and it became a hot topic of conversation.
This time, we have further powered up our collaboration with Marui. During the Sa Mystery!? period, we will also open a Sa Mystery!? POP UP STORE in a special space on the 5th floor this year. In addition to many goods, there will also be a raffle and an exhibition of extremely rare items from each facility. And this time, we will also be holding a Sa Mystery!? event on the rooftop of Ueno Marui. We are planning to hold events that everyone can participate in, such as quiz
competitions and talk events. Special guests exclusive to the rooftop event will also appear.

The mystery that has returned for the first time in two years!? Before holding the event, all members of the management team seriously thought about what the sauna participants should expect and how they could enjoy it. In today’s sauna world, events and merchandise sales are held frequently, and sauna enthusiasts may be getting a little bored. It’s a mystery that other events don’t have! If we don’t create our own unique fun, people won’t be satisfied. After much
consideration, I decided that I would like to keep the following requirements in mind.
・Have a lot of time in the sauna
・Enjoy not just by watching and listening, but by participating. ・Do not spend as much money on the sauna as possible.
・Easy to enjoy without the hassle of using a sauna
・Enjoy leisurely without crowds
During the exhibition period, we wanted you to leisurely tour the various facilities at your own pace, so we eliminated any hurdles for application or accommodation, and made the event participatory. If you have some free time, please come and visit Ueno for 11 days starting October 4th. Feel free to participate and apply according to your mood. We all hope that everyone who uses the sauna can enjoy it as much as possible.
