■Date and time: Wednesday, October 2, 2024 11:45-12:45 (Doors open 11:35) ■Theme: What is/is not strategic decision making?
■Summary:
The goal of corporate activities is long-term profit, and competitive strategy is the means to achieve long-term profit in the face of competition. The essence of this lies in the company’s “uniqueness,” or “creating a difference from its competitors.” What is needed here is “strategic decision-making.” In this seminar, we will clarify the “strategic decision-making” necessary for managers and the unchanging logic that underlies it.
We would be happy if you could find this information useful in developing human resources who will strengthen the competitiveness of your company.

■Date and time: November 28, 2024 (Thursday) 12:00-13:00 (Doors open 11:50) ■Theme:
JTB’s challenge: What is “creating an organization that learns from each other and continues to learn” to realize the transformation from a travel industry to an exchange creation business?
■Summary:
As the nature of travel changes with the times, the JTB Group has redefined its business domain from “travel industry to exchange creation business.” As digital technology rapidly evolves and the effects of the coronavirus pandemic prolong, the JTB Group feels a strong sense of crisis at the limits of its business model that relies on the flow of people. We have started reform.
The exchange creation project is “utilizing the power of people on a digital platform, co-creating value for regions and organizations, and creating flows of people, information, and logistics. “To continue to create encounters and empathy in a sustainable manner.”
Human resources are the source of sustainable value creation in order to advance our business of creating intangible interactions. Based on the idea that the growth and vitality of employees supports the growth, leap forward, and transformation of the JTB Group and each business, we will organically connect the three pillars of career development, skill development, and organizational culture reform to create a “self-reliant workforce” that will lead the future. We have been promoting the development of creative human resources.
In this seminar, we will introduce specific examples of initiatives practiced by the JTB Group, such as developing autonomously creative human resources, creating an organization that supports them by learning from each other and continuing to learn, and developing management human resources who will be promoters of change. Provides insights that corporate human resources managers can use to develop their own human resources strategies.
