[9/12 test match held] Final preparations for the start of the 2025 UNIZONE League! Holding a test match! Venue events will also be held! *Test match “UNIZONE EX MATCH FOR OFFICIAL” for the start of the league in 2025 LEAGUE” will be held! Challenge a battle format between distant bases! Venue events at City Circuit Tokyo Bay*
Japan e-Motorsports Organization (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) operates the only e-motorsports tournament (e-sports tournament using racing games) in Japan that is officially recognized by JAF (Japan Automobile Federation) “UNIZONE”. , Representative Director: Hiroaki Idei (hereinafter referred to as “JeMO”) will take on the challenge of an online race format between physically distant bases in preparation for the league’s opening in 2025. UNIZONE
EX MATCH FOR OFFICIAL LEAGUE” will be held.
*Purpose of the event*
Taking advantage of the unique features of digital technology, such as not having to gather athletes in one place and not using a real circuit, we are holding an experimental tournament format where each athlete participates from different locations and competes online. The main purpose of trying out a new race format is to expand the possibilities of tournaments after the league starts.
Major sports such as baseball and soccer have a “HOME&AWAY” format and one revenue opportunity for a game in which two teams participate; You can get two earning opportunities.
If this initiative is successful, each participating team will be able to gain more local fans and increase opportunities to engage in community contribution activities.
In addition, not only for the league but also for the participating players, it will be possible to reduce the hassle and cost of traveling to tournaments, and flexibly respond to issues such as schedules, greatly lowering the hurdles for participating in e-motorsports. becomes possible.
On the other hand, major issues include the speed and stability of the internet connection for a race simulator that is extremely sensitive to lag, etc., and we are working to identify issues and find solutions, with a view to collaborating with telecommunications companies. I’m coming.
*Cooperating team/driver*
There are four participating teams in the UNIZONE EX MATCH FOR OFFICIAL LEAGUE, and each team has two drivers who will race. *This does not indicate the teams participating in the UNIZONE League. Teams participating in the UNIZONE League will be announced at a later date.

UNIZONE is an e-motorsports tournament sponsored by JeMO and certified by the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF), the general incorporated association that oversees motorsports in Japan.
By building an ecosystem and competition pyramid in e-motorsports, we will not only create a new sports culture, but also attract a wide range of people, including traditional motorsports fans and e-sports fans, as well as those who have little interest in either. We are planning to develop an official league and grassroots activities. Through these activities, we aim to become a platform that conveys the wonders and fun of cars and contributes to the development of future mobility.
