It has been revealed that one in five people want to eat breakfast, but are unable to do so.
・Reasons for “not eating breakfast/wanting to eat but not being able to eat” were “I have no appetite (39.4%),” “I don’t have time to prepare and clean up (32.8%),” and “What do I have for breakfast?” “It’s a pain to think and prepare (21.7%)” was the most common answer. People who “want to eat but don’t eat every day” not only end up eating more lunch and snacks on days when they don’t eat breakfast, but also find that they “can’t concentrate in the morning (22.6%)” ), “I feel sleepy after lunch (21.7%),” “I get tired easily (20.9%),” etc.*
