“Fiesta Mexicana in Odaiba Tokyo” has been held since 2000 to celebrate Mexico’s Independence Day (September 16th).
The content expands the circle of friendship between Mexico and Japan, and allows you to feel closer to Mexico.
There are many projects that will introduce the charms of Mexico to many people and deepen their understanding!
“Odaiba Deck” will be in Mexico for 3 days! !
This time, the 23rd time, we set up a lucha ring entitled
“Professional Wrestling by Unique Students – Lucha Libre” to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the founding of the Keio University Pro-Wrestling Study Group. On the promenade lined with tents, you can experience Mexico without leaving Odaiba, selling folk crafts and specialty products and tasting some of the Mexican cuisine that has been registered as a UNESCO World Intangible Cultural Heritage.
On stage, groups active in the Kanto region will perform songs, perform, and perform gorgeous folk dances.For children, there will be a fun Mexican game called “piñata-cracking” (piñatas filled with sweets), songs and music. We offer programs such as “A play in which children smash and break objects according to the theme of the event”.
The Mexico-themed “Mexican Photo Contest” receives many masterpieces every time, and the grand prize winner receives a certificate from the Mexican Embassy.

“THE
HOPE” is Japan’s largest gathering of artists who are active at the forefront of the HIPHOP scene across generations, from vibrant freshmen to legends who lead the scene.
It’s a HIP HOP festival.
Although it was held for the first time in 2022, more than 50 artists in total will perform, and the Yoyogi Daiichi Gymnasium, which boasts one of the largest attendances in Tokyo, is immediately sold out. Let’s have a dialogue. With myself, the world, and the future. ”. This year, we will focus on interaction, and with the keyword “dialogue” with various things and things, we will deliver encounters and experiences with new art in the waterfront metropolitan area. During the exhibition period, there will be experiential VR art using advanced technology, participatory XR art that can be enjoyed in a stamp rally format while touring the parks and entire town of the waterfront subcenter, as well as talk events and work creation workshops for parents and children. We have prepared a lot of content that will serve as an entry point for encounters and dialogue with diverse values. In addition, there will be art exhibitions by young artists and street pianos.
