Keishunin, the sub-temple of Myoshinji Temple, was built in 1598. This is a special cultural experience program that allows a small group of people to view the shrine grounds at night, when they are normally not allowed to visit. The four gardens of Keishun-in, which has been designated as a national historic site and scenic spot, are
illuminated with traditional Japanese candlelight, providing a new experience through zazen experiences, cuisine made with Kyoto ingredients, and guitar tones tailored to the occasion. Keishun-in, the sub-temple of Myoshin-ji Temple of the Rinzai sect, was founded in 1598 by Oda Nobutada’s second son, Hidenori Tsuda. You can also see the four gardens and the snow sliding door paintings of Mt. Kano.
