Just like the natural materials such as linen that CONFECT values, we use natural leather to avoid waste as much as possible, even when it comes to leather products, as they are a gift from nature.
Similar to last year, when creating leather items, we were able to create products using livestock byproducts (secondary use of raw hides from sheep raised for food, which would otherwise be discarded), which is in sync with the brand’s stance up until now. I did.

While offering linen clothing, we encountered the issue of leather jackets being rugged and hard, making them difficult to match with soft linen. As CONFECT, which proposes linen clothing, we have been searching for many years to find a leather jacket that can be worn in a way that feels similar to loose-fitting linen clothing.
Continuing from last year, this season we have used soft and thin 0.7mm thick lamb leather to create leather jackets with a generous silhouette, moderate drape, and moderate wrinkles when worn.
Originally, 0.7mm thick lamb leather was often used for gloves. By wearing a jacket with a loose silhouette that covers the whole body, its thinness is taken advantage of, and the fine texture of the leather appears elegantly with the flow of the rippling leather.
The outline is inspired by a French hunting jacket from the 1940s. From the front edge to the hem, the shape of the pockets incorporates a moderate old style with curved lines.
In order to blend in with loose linen wear, the feather collar has been made smaller, but the collar has a slanted waist part that maintains a gentle slope from the shoulders to the sleeves. Coupled with the thick sleeves with 2 pleats flowing into the cuffs, it creates a shape with no corners.
In addition, the lining is usually made of polyester material to emphasize strength, but CONFECT is particular about using natural materials, and uses unbleached linen for the lining of the body and smooth cotton sateen for the sleeves.
CONFECT offers clothes made from natural materials, mainly linen, and a relaxed leather that goes well with traditional fashion and military work, and softens the hard and rugged atmosphere that is commonly associated with leather jackets. I think you will enjoy the style.
