“Reiwa 6th Smart Life Project” Health Promotion Dissemination Month event “#Let’s all extend our healthy life expectancy” PR event was held.

As part of its Smart Life Project, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare is conducting research on the characteristics of
lifestyle-related diseases such as cancer, heart disease, stroke, and diabetes, as well as the importance of improving individual lifestyle habits such as exercise and diet. In order to deepen the understanding of each citizen and promote the practice of health promotion, we designate the month from September 1st to 30th every year as “Health Promotion Month,” where we conduct awareness-raising activities related to health promotion.
In order to promote health promotion practices, events and campaigns will be held in three prefectures across the country (Chiba, Nara, and Aichi prefectures) to enliven Health Promotion Month. Furthermore, as part of the initiative, a special website was launched on Friday, August 23rd.

This year’s priority theme is “sleep.” We have prepared a variety of content, including events related to health with a focus on sleep, a sleep-related talk show inviting sleep experts, and booths by organizations participating in the Smart Life Project (SLP).
A PR event to coincide with the start of this initiative will be held on Sunday, September 8th at Aeon Mall Makuhari New City.

Anna Murashige, who was on stage at this event, said, “I always pay attention to my sleep, such as making sure I get eight hours of sleep a day and always drinking hot water before going to bed.” He talked about his commitment to , comedian Hirogarizu Suwe said, “I’m glad I learned a lot of things I didn’t know about sleep today,” and Nelsons said, “I’m disappointed that I missed one question in the quiz corner. I’d like to study hard and take on the challenge next time (lol),” he said.
