We would like to inform you that we have started the “CYCLING” service.
OpenStreet is a sharing service for electrically assisted bicycles and electric cycles that can be rented anywhere and returned at any location.
CYCLING” has been expanded to 25 prefectures, with stations (bicycle parking) installed in over 8,800 locations. Approximately 3.6 million customers use it as a means of transportation to supplement their last-mile journeys, such as commuting to work, school, shopping, and outings. To date, we have concluded agreements with 123 local governments and expanded our services by installing stations on public land.
Minoh City, Osaka Prefecture, is home to the Meiji-no-Mori Minoh Quasi-National Park and the famous waterfall “Mino Otaki”, and is a residential city blessed with a lush natural environment, with easy access to central Osaka. In March 2024, Osaka’s main artery, the Kita-Osaka Kyuko Line, will be extended to the central part of the city. Access to Shin-Osaka, Umeda, Namba, etc. will be further improved, and urban development is progressing around the two new stations.
The introduction of bicycle sharing is expanding in several
neighboring municipalities, and by developing bicycle sharing in an integrated manner with these municipalities, the transportation network within and outside the city will be further enhanced after the railway is extended. We were considering the possibility of bicycle sharing because we expected this to happen.
OpenStreet and Minoh City have recently concluded an “Agreement on Demonstration Experiments for Bicycle Sharing, etc.” with the aim of enhancing the city’s transportation network and improving the convenience of commuting to and from neighboring municipalities. We have started the “CYCLING” share cycle service. The bicycle share business will begin operations at 37 public facilities in the city, including Minoh City Hall, Sky Arena, and Nishiwaki Park, and will gradually expand. “HELLO” is also available in Toyonaka City, Ibaraki City, Suita City, Ikeda City, etc. near Minoh City.

OpenStreet and Minoh City will examine the effectiveness of shared mobility, including bicycle sharing, as a new transportation system that will contribute to enriching the city’s transportation network and expanding means of excursion across a wide area.
