Among those who actually purchased an EV, the most common reason for purchasing an EV was “I can charge it at home” (62%), followed by “It costs less fuel compared to gasoline” (47%), and “It’s a comfortable ride” (38%). . It seems that the convenience of refueling at home, which is unique to EVs, and the low fuel costs compared to gasoline, are being praised.
