・Including “I did not return home but met my family,” 78.5%, nearly 80%, will be reunited with their family this summer.
・65% of those who answered “I have returned to my hometown/plan to return home in the future” and “I have not returned to my hometown, but I have met my family,” answered that they had “considered looking for a serious partner for the future.” On the other hand, among those who do not plan to return home or meet their families, those who thought about looking for a serious partner for the future were “yes” (44%) and “no” (56%), indicating that they would not be able to meet their families when returning home. Those who met were more likely to seriously consider looking for a partner.
・The reason why they thought about looking for a serious partner in the future this summer was that “a friend or someone close to me found a boyfriend” (58 votes) and “I had time to think about the future on vacation” (57 votes) were almost equally likely.

This summer, the top reasons for thinking about looking for a serious partner for the future were “A friend or someone close to me found a girlfriend” (58 votes) and “The vacation made me think about the future” (57 votes). This was followed by “I wanted someone to spend time with for fall/winter events” (41 votes) and “My family asked me if I had a boyfriend or not and whether I was planning to get married” (30 votes).
