Koda Town boasts the largest production of Fudegaki in Japan. It is called “Fudegaki” because its shape resembles the tip of a brush, and it can be harvested about a month earlier than Fuyu persimmons and Jiro persimmons, making it a popular autumn flavor.

* [Gamagori City] * Gamagori City Tourism Association: https://www.gamagori.jp/ Gamagori City, Aichi Prefecture, is famous for its hot springs and Takeshima, a nationally designated natural monument, and the entire island is popular as a power spot. Gamagori mandarin oranges, a specialty product, are characterized by a rich flavor with a good balance of high sugar content and acidity.
