Targeting university students who are interested in regional revitalization and employment outside the prefecture, approximately half of the excess out-migration is due to out-migration of young people between the ages of 20 and 24 due to employment or higher education, making countermeasures against the decline in young people and labor shortages an urgent issue. We will consider the problem of overconcentration in Tokyo using Hiroshima Prefecture as a case study. We aim to create a new approach that encourages people to consider employment in rural areas as a new option by raising the resolution of [working in rural areas and living in rural areas]. The two events are PROJECT, a co-creation platform that supports the self-actualization of people in their 20s with the catchphrase “Changing the world from your 20s.”
This will be carried out in collaboration with OVER20&Company. (Minato-ku, Tokyo), which provides any services. The project team for the event will be mainly comprised of “any students” registered on the platform, who will think about regional revitalization from the perspective of university students and people in their 20s. We will interact with Hiroshima-based managers, business leaders, and people with I-turn employment experience, and exchange opinions through panel discussions and workshops.

Mr. Rei Narisawa, an Any student who is the representative of the event planning, talks about the issues that should be approached when considering an I-turn job in the first career and the circumstances that led to this project.
