About holding the “Miyoshi Railway Event”
In conjunction with “Railway Day,” we will hold the “Miyoshi Railway Event” to express our gratitude to our customers and local residents who use our services on a daily basis.
1. Implementation date and time
October 12, 2024 (Saturday) 10:00 to 15:00 *Free admission, rain or shine (cancelled in case of stormy weather)
2. Place of implementation
JR Miyoshi Station (Location: 1-1-1 Tokaichi Minami, Miyoshi City) *There is no parking lot for the event. Please use public
transportation such as JR when coming.
3. Main events
≪Event train operation (120 series 1 car)≫
・The “Bihoku Stamp Train” will be operated between Miyoshi and Bingo Saijo Station.
・Reception will be accepted in front of the Miyoshi Station ticket gate from 10:40.
・Capacity is 40 people (first come, first served), and registration will close as soon as the capacity is reached.
・Please purchase a round-trip ticket on the same day.
・As a commemoration of your ride, you will receive an event train boarding pass and a souvenir.
・We will hold a lottery for two sets of “driving simulator trial tickets” in the car on your way home.
*“Hospitality” will be held at Bingo Saijo Station by the Saijo Town Tourism Association.

*Exhibits may be changed at short notice due to circumstances.
≪Experience Corner≫
・Driving simulator experience (train driving training simulator) *Trial tickets will be given to 12 groups selected by lottery from the quiz rally participants.
*Two groups will be randomly selected to receive trial tickets to commemorate their ride on the event train.
・Commemorative photo in the diesel train driver’s seat (Kiha 120 series driver’s seat)
・Mini Shinkansen ride experience (Sanyo Kyushu Shinkansen Sakura issue) ・Track bicycle riding experience (vehicle running on the track for track inspection)
・Face photo panel and children’s uniform try-on experience (uniforms, caps) ≪Quiz Rally≫
・Participants who visit the venue and answer railway quizzes will receive “level crossing accident prevention awareness goods.” ・12 groups will be randomly selected from participants to receive a “driving simulator experience.”
