We are pleased to announce that we have started offering a new feature called “AI Listing Support” (*1) that allows you to enter product information by simply taking a photo and selecting a category. This allows you to complete listing on Mercari in as little as 3 taps. *1: Starting today, this will be gradually applied to customers using Mercari.

Mercari has always been easy and convenient for customers to use, including the “Easy Listing” feature (*2) that allows you to easily list items in as little as 15 seconds, and the “No Price Listing” feature that allows you to list items without setting a price. We have continued to improve and update various functions such as functions (*3).

With AI Listing Support, when listing items on Mercari, all you have to do is take or upload a photo and select a category, and the information necessary for listing such as product description, product condition, and selling price will be automatically entered. There is no need to think of a title or description when listing, and listing can be completed in as little as 3 taps. The automatically entered content can also be edited by the seller (*5).
Starting today, “AI Listing Support” will be turned on by default when listing items on the Mercari app.

Tap the “Sell” button from the app’s home screen.
* 2. Take a photo of the product or select a photo. *
Use the camera function to take a photo of the item you want to sell, or select a photo from your album.
*Starting today, “AI Listing Support” will be turned on by default. *Product information will be created based on the photo.
* 3. Select a category. *
A category confirmation screen will be displayed, so select the appropriate one.
* 4. Check and correct the product information. *
Check the AI-generated title, product description, and automatically entered content (product condition, price, etc.). Modifications can be made if necessary.
* 5. Tap “Sell” to complete the listing. *
