Title: New possibilities for derma cosmetics
We presented a new treatment method for facial pigmentation disorders (pigmentation, hypopigmentation, and depigmentation), including cases of Japanese patients.
Facial pigmentation disorder is a common skin disease found in 50% of the population. Dr. Kobayashi is focusing on the potential of derma cosmetics (cosmetics based on dermatology), as there are concerns about the risk of side effects with long-term use of the main treatments, laser therapy and drugs such as tranexamic acid. We considered from a clinical standpoint the safety and effectiveness of combining derma cosmetics containing the new ingredient
MELASYL(TM)* (Melasyl) developed in France with whitening treatments. *2-Mercaptonicotinoylglycine (skin conditioning ingredient)
