From October 4th (Friday) to December 25th (Wednesday), 2024, the “Sweets Buffet” will feature approximately 25 types of sweets made with autumn and winter ingredients such as chestnuts, grapes, apples, figs, and pears.

This time, Hilton Osaka will hold a total of 10 special classes from May to July in collaboration with Osaka College of Design, located in Kita Ward, Osaka City. The project team was made up of 30 students, majoring in communication design and interior design in the Department of Design, and they held discussions on a variety of topics, including the concept of the sweets buffet, interior decoration, graphics and character design. In addition to fairy and dwarf objects, the photo spot also features student work. Through this project, we were able to refine the students’ fresh ideas into hotel-quality designs, creating a world and space for a sweets buffet with a new appeal.

After graduating from culinary school, Momota began training in the kitchen of a French restaurant in 1997. He was drawn to the delicate charm of sweets and switched to the confectionery department in 1999. In 2003, she studied confectionery in Europe, including France and Belgium, and became even more immersed in the world of confectionery. After returning to Japan, he joined Hilton Osaka in October 2003. Since April 2008, he has been demonstrating his abilities as a pastry chef by devising innovative sweets. Momota’s sweets are made with great attention to detail, making them fun to look at and captivating with their delicate sweetness when you taste them.
We are particular about the balance of chocolate composition, fruits, and spices, and create a variety of unique sweets.
