Plat Yonezawa Co., Ltd. (Location: Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture, Representative Director Hirosato Miyajima) and Onyx Co., Ltd. (Location: Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture, Representative Director Yoshitaka Kusano) are sponsored by the Yonezawa Four Seasons Festival Committee/Yonezawa Sengoku We will be in charge of planning and promoting the “1st Yonezawa Sengoku Fireworks Festival,” which will be held by the Fireworks Subcommittee (Location: Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture, Director: Noboru Sakai). As part of our project, we set up a crowdfunding project team for the Yonezawa Sengoku Fireworks Festival and began activities to preserve the region’s important history called the Keicho Dewa Gassen for children both inside and outside the region. Through crowdfunding, we hope to receive support from many people within and outside the region, and create a model for preserving and utilizing the history of the region. [Image 1
Project overview
The “1st Yonezawa Sengoku Fireworks Festival” will be held at the Yonezawa Municipal Baseball Stadium from 18:30 on October 12, 2024. As the first paid fireworks festival in Yonezawa City, it will be an important event that conveys the history and culture of the area to the next generation. This fireworks display is the only one in the country that has the themes of “Sengoku” and “fireworks display,” and its main theme is the “Keicho Dewa Battle” that took place in 1600. This battle, in which famous commanders such as Kagekatsu Uesugi, Kanetsugu Naoe, Yoshimitsu Mogami, and Masamune Date clashed, will be brought back to modern times with fireworks and new performances. This crowdfunding campaign aims to raise funds to create a special performance for this historic event and convey the value of history to children both within and outside the region. Significance of participation
This project was sent to Plat Yonezawa Co., Ltd. by the Yonezawa Four Seasons Festival Committee Yonezawa Sengoku Fireworks Subcommittee (an organization consisting of the Yonezawa Chamber of Commerce and Industry Youth Division, the Yonezawa Junior Chamber Public Interest Incorporated Association, and the Yonezawa Tourism and Convention Association Youth Division) (Tourism Agency candidate DMO) and Onyx Co., Ltd. (Yamagata Ai no Bushotai management corporation)
participated in this project. and. The region is working together to pass on its history and culture. This initiative, carried out by local youth economic organizations, tourism DMOs, and local military commanders in collaboration with a wide range of friends, is a sustainable and powerful initiative that enhances the cultural value of the region, connects it economically, and receives support from a wide range of people. We believe that this will lead to the
development of regional development. Through this collaboration, a powerful project was born that can hone, disseminate, and pass on the charm of the region to the next generation.

Purpose of crowdfunding
・Production costs for new performance: Producing new music and performance with the theme of the Keicho Dewa Battle.
・Free invitation fee for children: Children from within and outside the area are invited free of charge, providing a special opportunity to convey the importance of history.
・Special performance: Cost for launching the final Kachidoki fireworks of the fireworks display.
・Other fireworks display event operation costs: Expenses for planning and operating the fireworks display
