A businessman who has lost his ability to speak takes on the challenge of entertainment to improve his aphasia!
*Crowd crowdfunding achieved 30% in one week*
Atsuhiro Sakata: Influencer involved. After developing symptoms, he returned to business.
“Aphasia” x “Reading Drama” x “Entertainment” = “Rainbow over Words” Performance scheduled for October 19th (Saturday)!!
What kind of difficulties do aphasia and higher brain dysfunction, which are the aftereffects of brain trauma caused by strokes or accidents, pose to those affected? It largely depends on your life before the onset of the disease and the personality you have cultivated up to that point.
For example, what if you were a “manager/business owner”* before the onset of symptoms?
Not being able to work as usual is a disappointment for all involved, but there are employees and their families to support, and the company may have to borrow money.
Employment insurance, which protects employees, does not work, and there are few systems available. The pain you feel strongly reflects your position before the onset of the disease.
However, on the other hand, how the person concerned “gets back up” from the pain greatly reflects the person before the illness. *Atsuhiro Sakata*, who plays a supporting role in this work, says *“Disability and management are exactly the same.”* At the time of onset, the left side of the body was fully functional.
Abandoned. He was unable to move the whole half of his body, and doctors told him he would never be able to walk again.
However, he has now returned as an entrepreneur and is back in the position of managing more than 20 companies.
What made him stand up for himself was that before his illness, as a businessman, he experienced a “rock bottom” that ordinary people would never experience.
I say that’s what I’ve been doing.
* This story strongly reflects the message and mindset from Sakata. * The number of people suffering from aphasia and higher brain dysfunction continues to increase as the survival rate from accidents and underlying diseases increases. Special
In cases of cerebrovascular disease, people are in their 40s or 50s, when their professional life is finally starting to bear fruit. The number of cases occurring over time is also increasing.
I want to deliver this work to the managers and entrepreneurs who are currently fighting on the front lines. *It is never someone else’s problem.
And why does Sakata, a business owner, say that disability and management are the same?We take a look at the mindset behind his words.
I hope so.

We look forward to the entertainment that will be presented by performers with brilliant achievements who have become disabled, and former Takarazuka Revue male actors and their families (actresses) who are disabled!
What Ishihara is aiming for is not a “welfare drama” performed by people with disabilities, but rather a “welfare drama” performed by people with disabilities.
True entertainment that entertains and satisfies. This can be achieved by people with disabilities themselves.
I think this will help more people learn about this “invisible disability.” All of us, at one time or another, have had a heavy past that caused us to fall into darkness in our lives. However, obstacles
Life goes on even after a loss. It was in the darkness that we managed to survive.
Because I was able to find a tiny little light.
Ishihara portrays a strong person who overcomes obstacles and shines brightly, which is often brought to the fore by the media.
I never want to write a story, a recovery story. The cruel obstacles we get along the way in life
Darkness. What kind of light do people find in this? Being able to act out, talk about, and convey that reality to others
I believe that we are the ones who are responsible for this. Media publication information

Completed master’s program at the Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies, University of Tokyo.
As a play translator, he has been involved in many productions including Bungakuza, Toho, and Umeda Arts Theatre, but in 2013 he suffered a cerebral infarction and developed aphasia. In December 2021, he will start a “fun reading class for people with aphasia” because he wants to spread the “recitation” that he himself has found effective as a rehabilitation task for people with aphasia.
