“Broadway Christmas Wonderland 2024” will be performed for the 8th year with a new direction by Kahori Kanaya!
*Selected as a children’s culture and art support project by the Agency for Cultural Affairs. Children aged 3 to 18 are invited free of charge. *
“Broadway” has become a winter tradition in Shibuya since its first performance in Japan in 2016 as “Christmas to enjoy at the theater.” It has been decided that “Christmas Wonderland” will be performed for the 8th year.
This performance began with the idea of “creating a Christmas show in Japan that everyone can enjoy, just like in New York.” Until now, we have delivered dreamlike Christmas scenes to our customers, such as a giant tree appearing on stage, a Christmas town with shining stained glass, a world of ice, and Santa’s toy factory where teddy bears come to life.

Kahori Kanaya has been invited to direct, and it has been updated as a new production version!
Now in its 8th year, Kahori Kanaya, one of Japan’s leading theme park show creators, will be directing the show, and Takashi Ishihara, the popular set designer, will be in charge of the art.
It will be reborn as the new Broadway Christmas Wonderland.

Kanaya, who has directed live performances by artists such as Monster, as well as a wide range of stages including new Kabuki plays such as “Final Fantasy Received the Outstanding Achievement Award, an entertainment award. Korea Lotte World’s night parade is currently a huge hit.
World of Lights
Kanaya’s dynamic production is supported worldwide. Many ideas have already been developed for this production, and we are working on the production with the hope of giving the audience a wonderful Christmas present.
Selected as a children’s culture and art support project by the Agency for Cultural Affairs. Children from 3 years old to 18 years old are invited free of charge.
In addition, this performance has been selected by the Agency for Cultural Affairs as part of the Children’s Culture and Arts Support Project (project to support children’s viewing experience at theaters, music halls, etc.), and children aged 3 to 18 years old will be given free admission to the performance. KAHORI KANAYA
She has been involved in gymnastics and ballet since childhood, and began her career as an opening cast member at Tokyo Disneyland. He then became in charge of directing shows, and after becoming independent, he has been active in a wide range of fields, including directing shows at major theme parks, live performances by artists, and stage performances. Christmas show “Angel’s Miracle II~The Song of an
“Angel~” won the “Outstanding Achievement Award”, a global entertainment award. In 2020, it will be introduced on “Jonetsu Tairiku”. He also serves as a professor in the Department of Performing Arts at Osaka University of Arts, where he focuses on nurturing the next generation.
