Otaru arch (sauna Otaru arch) is now open. The location is Asarigawa Onsenkyo, known as Otaru’s inner parlor. Natural hot spring Yunohana It was built next to Asari-dono. Based on the concept of “a sauna that connects you with Otaru,” there are spots scattered throughout the facility where you can feel Otaru, a city of history and tourism. There are 4 types of saunas that both men and women can enjoy, and you can wear a swimsuit when using them.

There are a total of 4 sauna rooms at our facility. Each one has different temperature settings and installed sauna stoves. The name of the room is “Ironai”
-Ironai-,” “Asari-,” “Otamoi-,” and “Temiya-” are all named after places in Otaru. The BGM for each sauna room and entrance is created by singer-songwriter Tomoe Takizawa, who lives in Otaru city, and is tailored to the characteristics of each room.

[Interior shape] A meditation sauna inspired by Otaru’s tourist attraction “Blue Cave”. We have 4 bed-shaped benches and 3 log-shaped stools placed around the stove. Accommodates up to 7 people. [Sauna stove] Two HARVIA “SPIRIT9” (first introduced in Hokkaido) and one HARVIA “CILINDRO6”. Set at 75℃. You can self-roll no matter where you sit.
Sauna room “Temiya”
80-85℃
[Interior shape] Sauna room for women. A very rare sauna with a cold bath inside the sauna room. The cold bath used a pot bath from the group company’s natural hot spring “Temiya”, hence the name of the room “Temiya”. It is designed to allow whisking when reserved. Accommodates up to 6 people.
[Sauna Stove] HARVIA “LEGEND15” 80℃ setting. Served piping hot with self-rolling.
*4 types of cold baths*
There are four types of cold baths in our facility. We have water baths with different temperature settings that will satisfy both sauna beginners and experienced sauna users. The names of the water baths include “Otaru Canal (left)” and “Otaru Canal (right).”
Like the sauna room, they are named after famous spots in Otaru, such as “Asari Dam” and “Temiya Tsubo.”
Water bath “Otaru Canal (left)”
7℃～9℃
The cold bath on the left side is located in the patio (courtyard) inspired by the Otaru Canal. Single setting of 7 degrees Celsius. We recommend the Otaru canal water bath (22℃) on the right and the cold bath.
Water bath “Otaru Canal (right)”
The cold bath on the right side is located in the patio (courtyard) inspired by the Otaru Canal. Set at 22℃. Enjoy the unique system that allows you to shower your head with cold water while lying in a cold bath.
Water bath “Asari Dam”
This water bath is modeled after Otaru’s only dam, Asari Dam. Water temperature is approximately 15℃. The depth is a whopping 1111cm. It is a water bath that is said to be the number one in the world. When you press the button on the wall, water will fall from above, like water from a dam.
Water bath “Temiya Tsubo”
A cold bath inside the sauna room “Temiya”. We use the hot spring pot from the natural hot spring “Yunohana” Temiya Palace. Water
temperature is 15℃~20℃. You can enjoy the mysterious feeling of being warm on the outside and cold on the inside. A mist of water falls from above.
There is also a mechanism to come.

I’ve been involved in saunas for many years, but this is my first time producing one from scratch. Based on the concept of “Otaru”, I packed a lot of my love for saunas into it.
The most important and difficult part was the number of sauna rooms and cold baths. It would be appealing to have something that can accommodate dozens of people at once, but space is limited, so we created “4 types of saunas and 4 types of cold baths” in pursuit of ways to please as many people as possible. I decided. Each one has a different atmosphere, uses different equipment, and has different temperature settings.

Swimsuits, sauna hats, and sauna robes (ponchos) are all original (rental and sales available), with designs and fabrics carefully selected for convenience, design, and comfort. We develop products from a sauna perspective, such as considering the comfort of taking a cold bath. The sauna robe combines the best features of a poncho and a bathrobe, and is made of domestic latch pile material that gives you a sense of security just by putting it on. Our facility has introduced a 2 hour and 30 minute time limit, and we also have a plan to rent out the entire building for 3 hours or for a day. (Basically, reservations are accepted by phone three months in advance of the scheduled date. Last-minute reservations are also possible if the time slot is available.)
You can rent it out for a private company and have a unique
experience, such as having a corporate social gathering or
presentation meeting in swimsuits, or having a meeting while taking a sauna. It is also possible to use the outdoor air bathing space for music concerts and promotions using the sauna room.

Even after opening, we will continue to make further efforts to use arch’s sauna facility to connect each and every one of you and become a bridge that connects your feelings.
