[Event Report] Popular anime series “Gabby’s Dollhouse” currently being broadcast on TV Tokyo’s 6 stations online! Japan’s first fan event at Aeon Mall Makuhari New City on Sunday, September 8th ended with great success!

“Gabby’s Dollhouse” is a children’s animation series created by DreamWorks Animation that has become a hot topic around the world. Netflix in January 2021
Since it began distribution, its popularity has rapidly expanded, especially among girls around the world. This work, which has become a huge content that dominates all charts, will be broadcast for the first time on terrestrial TV in Japan from April 2024! It is broadcast every Sunday at 9am on 6 TV Tokyo network stations and has already become a big hit among kids.
The main character, Gabby, loves cats, cooking, dancing, imitating, and crafting. When she wears cat ears, she becomes smaller and can play inside a mysterious dollhouse! This is a “meow-tastic” work where you go on a fun adventure with cute cats in a room inside.
Dance, create, play, and meow-tastic experience held at Aeon Mall Makuhari New City on Sunday, September 8, 2024! The parent-child screening of “Gabby’s Dollhouse” was a great success, with many parents and children. The event was sponsored by NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan and featured a screening of episodes of DreamWorks Animation’s popular children’s animation series Gabby’s Dollhouse, as well as a variety of activities for parents and children.

* ■Episode main story screening*
Two episodes were screened at the event, the first episode
“Spaceship” and the third episode “Hamster Cat,” and the children in the audience were glued to the big screen. Smiles spread across the children’s faces as they watched scenes featuring their favorite characters.
* ■Gabby and Cakey’s greeting and dance*
Everyone in the venue shouted “Gabby!” and the main character of the show, Gabby, appeared and the venue was filled with cheers. When Cake appeared on the screen, everyone got excited and called out the name, “Cake!”
In particular, the scenes where they danced to the official theme songs “Let’s Go to the Dollhouse” and “Sprinkle Party” were a big hit. Many of the children had practiced by watching dance videos
beforehand, and many had memorized the songs and were singing them. After enjoying the dance, the event ended with everyone in the venue shouting out “Nyan-tastic!”, the password Gabby uses when she’s happy. Dance videos are available on Youtube. * ■Hamster cat workshop*
A workshop themed around the popular character “Hamster Cat” that appears in episode 3 was also held. The children created their own hamster cats and were completely absorbed in the crafts. Some children made it exactly like the original version, while others added their own unique twists, and a variety of “hamster cats” were born at the venue.
* ■Official goods corner & photo spot*
A corner was also set up inside the venue where children could freely play with toys currently on sale from the Takara Tomy Group, and children had a great time with their favorite characters. The photo spot where you can take pictures with Gabby was also very popular, and families enjoyed taking commemorative photos.
