* – Kyotanba Town, the town of gourmet food *
Surrounded by mountains, Kyotanba Town is blessed with a unique climate and natural features, including a large temperature difference between day and night, an abundance of water due to its watershed location, and Tamba fog that moistens the soil. We grow many delicious and nutritious crops, including nationally famous Tamba brand ingredients such as Kyotanba chestnuts, as well as black soybeans and Daikokumoto shimeji mushrooms.
At Hiramatsu, we wanted to let more people know about the appeal of ingredients produced in Kyotanba, so in October and November of last year we opened Restaurant Hiramatsu in Higashiyama, Kyoto.
“Kyotanba Town Fair 2023” will be held at “Kodaiji”.
We served a full course meal using ingredients from Kyotanba Town, which was enjoyed by many customers.
