Our bank supports companies that contribute to local communities through the issuance of privately placed bonds. On Tuesday, June 25, 2020, we underwrote and acted as financial agent for Kyoritsu Electric Co., Ltd.’s “SDGs Private Placement Bond ‘Regional Support Type’*”. A portion of the fee will be used to donate a handy timer to Matsuyama Chuo High School’s handball club jointly with the company and our bank.

In order to contribute to local communities related to the SDGs, we will use a portion of the fees we receive from companies issuing private placement bonds to purchase equipment and other equipment, and use the funds to purchase equipment and other items from companies that issue private placement bonds in a joint name between our bank and the issuing company.
