[Jishotei Bento] Newly released “Iwata Bento” using special products from Iwata City (Shizuoka Prefecture). The package, which features Iwata City’s image character “Shippei” popping out in three
dimensions, is also popular. ~Local bento project~
*The Local Bento Project is a collaboration between Enshu Beikoku Co., Ltd. (Iwata City, Shizuoka Prefecture), a rice wholesaler, and Jishotei Co., Ltd., a bento manufacturing and sales company, for the purpose of promoting local production, local consumption, and local ingredients. Company (Hamamatsu City) and other companies are developing this service. *
Iwata bento (from the left in the photo): 1100 yen, 900 yen, 700 yen including tax.
By using local ingredients as much as possible, we aim to produce locally for local consumption and discover hidden ingredients. Starting from the end of July this year, we have been soliciting ideas for side dishes for bento boxes through our website and some local newspapers, and based on the submitted content, we have repeatedly produced prototypes and commercialized them so that they can be stably provided at low prices. I did.
The bento boxes are priced at 700 yen, 900 yen, and 1100 yen including tax, and include whitebait, a specialty of the Enshu Sea, and tencha rice, which is a mixture of tencha, the raw material for matcha, and koshihikari from Iwata. (Contents change depending on season and price.)
Since Iwata City has many agricultural products and marine products that are highly rated nationwide, we are considering continuing to offer “Iwata Bento” that incorporates various ingredients depending on the season.
*In order to provide products stably and at low prices, we also use ingredients other than those produced in Iwata. Please inquire for details when ordering.
