Situation of the lecture on the day

The Kids Science Festival was held at Kisarazu National College of Technology on August 23, 2024.
The Kids Science Festival is a science craft and experiment event for elementary school students held every year during the summer vacation.
There were many courses unique to technical colleges, and many elementary school students participated this year as well.
◆On the day of the event, we have prepared 11 courses that require reservations and 6 courses that can be attended without reservations. The event consists of two types: a reserved course that can be attended by those who apply in advance and are selected by lottery, and a course that does not require a reservation and can be attended on the day of the event.
We also had 6 courses available for participation without
reservations, so even elementary school students who were
unfortunately unsuccessful in applying were able to participate.
A total of 373 elementary school students participated this time, and the survey was very popular, with comments such as “It was really fun, the instructions were easy to understand, I want to do it again next year, and although it was difficult, it was fun.”
Also, on the day of the event, we were able to see elementary school students having fun, and it seemed like many of them were able to feel closer to science.
◆This year, we also received cooperation from member companies of the Kisarazu National College of Technology Technology Promotion Exchange Association!
The scale of the event was expanded compared to last year, with 17 courses in total being offered by member companies of the Kisarazu National College of Technology Technology Promotion Exchange Association.
We were able to further develop this event by offering courses from a new perspective from member companies. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the companies that cooperated with us.
Kisarazu National College of Technology will continue to deepen its collaboration with the local community through various events.
