*Convenient access, right next to JR Kyoto Station basement east exit ticket gate! Please stop by to pick up souvenirs or do your daily shopping*
Kyoto Tsukemono Nishiri (Nishiri Co., Ltd., head office: Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City) will open the “Kyoto Tsukemono Nishiri Porta” in the Kyoto Station Porta Higashi area “Kyokonomi” from August 14th under the theme of “more convenient and more fun”. We have reopened our store.
At the Porta store, in addition to traditional Kyoto pickles, original Kyoto pickles, and healthy pickles made with Labre lactic acid bacteria, we also manufacture and sell Kyoto pickle sushi (takeout only), as well as lactic acid fermented sweet malt AMACO (*) from Nishiri’s brand “AMACO”. ) We also have a wide variety of products other than pickles, such as bread and sweets made with pickles. In addition, with the desire to “enjoy Japanese food even more deliciously,” we have also set up a “Fudo Foods” corner that features soy sauce, miso, natto, and other specialties from famous restaurants that support Japanese cuisine.
Located right next to the JR Kyoto Station underground east exit ticket gate, you can feel free to stop by to pick up souvenirs or do your daily shopping.
(*) What is lactic acid-fermented sweet koji AMACO? “Lactic acid-fermented sweet koji” is made by fermenting “sweet koji” made from rice and koji mold with Labre lactic acid bacteria, which was discovered in Kyoto’s traditional pickle “Suguki”.
– *Starting sales of AMACO soft serve ice cream from September 1st* AMACO soft serve ice cream is a new sensation sweet that uses lactic acid fermented sweet koji AMACO and allows you to enjoy Labre lactic acid bacteria easily and deliciously. We suppressed the unique flavor of koji that is commonly associated with it, and created a rich vanilla soft-serve ice cream with a refreshing, clean, and just the right amount of sourness.
In addition to plain, matcha and mixed flavors are also available. AMACO soft serve ice cream plain ¥400 (tax included) / Matcha/Mix ¥450 each (tax included)
