Displaying interior doors that enhance the luxury and comfort of your home at an unmanned showroom in Kurume
*17 types of doors, including new products exhibited for the first time nationwide. Reopening on Friday, September 13th*
Kamiya Corporation Shonan Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Kanagawa, President and CEO Tadashige Kamiya), a manufacturer specializing in interior doors, exhibited a total of 17 types of interior doors, including products exhibited for the first time in Japan, at an unmanned showroom in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture, on September 13th. It was renewed on Sunday (Friday).
The Kurume unmanned showroom opened in 2020 and is the only unmanned showroom in Kyushu. This is our first major renovation and we have introduced an avatar customer service system. A female avatar remotely controlled by staff at the main store in Kanagawa Prefecture serves customers in real time. The animations linked to the staff’s movements, such as blinking and bowing, have been well received, and this will be the third store to introduce them, following Nagoya and Okayama.

We are currently renovating each of our showrooms to coincide with the release of new products twice a year. At this Kurume unmanned showroom renovation, we displayed many of the latest products released in August. Among them, CALM is a soundproof door that takes into account everyday noises, and has a box room where you can actually experience the soundproofing effect, and you can actually see the noise reduction equivalent to 25 decibels.
In addition, we have added a total of 17 types of doors, including the glass door “MILANO,” which won the Good Design Award last year, and the European-spec high-spec door “PORTA.”
Calm, a door that takes into account everyday noises
We hope to take advantage of this renovation to encourage more customers to visit our showroom and experience the doors for themselves.
