Yokohama Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers will begin accepting reservations for special New Year’s dishes filled with exquisite flavors that will brighten up your 2025 New Year’s table from September 15th (Sunday). We offer a luxurious lineup of four types in order to meet the diverse needs of our customers and allow them to be selected according to various usage scenarios.
This year as well, we will be offering three types of osechi, an assortment of luxurious gourmet food, which you can choose according to the number of people under the supervision of executive chef Toru Isogai, which has been well received every year. In addition to the auspicious “celebratory side dishes” to celebrate the new year, we also offer the juicy, slow-roasted “Tokachi Herb Roast Beef” and the sweetness of thick shrimp and chili sauce from our hotel’s signature Chinese restaurant “Sairyu.” The exquisitely harmonious “Emperor Shrimp with Chili Sauce” is a popular menu item. In addition, we have an assortment of products such as “Smoked Aigamo,” in which the flavor of aigamo is further enhanced by smoking, “Seasoned salmon roe,” “Scallop cod roe with sea urchin dressing,” and “Herring roe,” which are indispensable for New Year’s dishes. We have created a gorgeous menu with rich flavors and a variety of menus to satisfy everyone in your family.
In addition, we will be offering a limited edition of 40 special New Year’s dishes, painstakingly created by head chef Yutomo Miyayama and made with traditional techniques, making full use of the charm of the Japanese cuisine “Konohana.”

Japanese cuisine “Konohana” special osechi made with luxuriously selected ingredients
Executive Chef Toru Isogai
Joined the company in 1998 when the Yokohama Bay Sheraton Hotel opened. After gaining experience in producing a variety of dishes for events ranging from ceremonies for international events to meetings and receptions, he was appointed executive chef in 2022. With the motto of creating food that “makes people smile,” we continue to explore deliciousness.
Yutomo Miyayama, Head Chef of Japanese Restaurant “Konohana”
Started his career as a chef at “Konohana” in 2004. He devoted himself to mastering Japanese cuisine at Konohana, and in 2018, he became sous chef. While serving as the head chef’s right-hand man, he further honed his skills, and was appointed head chef in September 2023. He says that he would like to continue to provide Japanese cuisine that exceeds expectations, paying close attention to the quality of ingredients, and creating a restaurant that will remain etched in the memories of customers through detailed hospitality.
