Winner of Sports Culture Tourism Award 2019. The 7th Nikko National Park Mountain Running Tournament is a trail running competition that takes place on 3 types of courses, including World Heritage sites, national forests, and national park areas.
As a representative of mountain sports, trail running is increasing year by year in Japan as well.
Starting from Nikko Toshogu Shrine, we will run around the mountains with the aim of making use of the wonderful fields of Nikko, disseminating new attractions of Nikko, raising awareness of environmental conservation, and further revitalizing the region. Arco International Co., Ltd. exhibited a special booth centering on brands specializing in “running”.

Ciele is a sports brand from Montreal, Canada, founded in 2014 by Jeremy Bresnen, who made a name for himself in the extreme sports scene, and his friend Mike Giles. At that time, running shops had a wide variety of colors, and I couldn’t find a fashionable cap. With that in mind, they named their brand from the French word “Ciele,” which means sky, and are aiming to create a brand that pursues not only design but also high quality.
