Regarding this exhibition, Miguel Gallego, ETC Head of Marketing and Communication, commented as follows.
“European countries are eager to revive overseas travel from Japan.Japan has long been an important destination for Europe due to its cultural interest, high consumer confidence, and preference for staying in Europe, including long tours. Tourist destinations in Europe are steadily gearing up to offer tailored experiences and cultural tours to cater to the sophisticated tastes of Japanese travelers.
We believe that Tourism EXPO Japan 2024 will be extremely important in strengthening the ties between European destinations and the Japanese travel industry. ETC will showcase Europe’s rich history, art, cuisine and natural landscapes, and we look forward to fostering deeper collaborations, generating renewed interest in European travel, and promoting responsible travel globally. That’s what I’m aiming for. ” Additionally, ETC Executive Director and CEO Eduardo Santander will be visiting Japan and will participate in a keynote panel discussion on September 26th with the theme of “Expanding the Tourist Exchange Population.”
