The four teams selected for the 2024 “Value Co-Creation Award” have been decided!
Daicel Corporation (Headquarters: Kita-ku, Osaka, President and CEO: Yoshimi Ogawa, hereinafter referred to as Daicel) is a subsidiary of Leave a Nest Corporation (Headquarters: Tokyo, President and COO) The Science Castle Research Fund, run by Shuichiro Takahashi (hereinafter referred to as Leave a Nest), has established the Science Castle Research Fund 2024 Value Co-Creation Award.
We received many applications from junior high and high school students from all over the country, and after document screening and interviews, we selected the following four applications.
We will pursue co-creation of value with the next generation of researchers by providing grants to research themes proposed by junior high and high school students that have excellent points of view and ability to execute, and through discussions and exchanges with Daicel researchers.

The four selected projects will be subsidized for research expenses, and Daicel researchers will continue to exchange opinions on research with these young researchers for about six months, aiming to have more meaningful results while having fun. Masu.
Additionally, in February next year, each team will hold a research results presentation event at Daicel as an opportunity to present their research results and as a place for interaction.
An online kickoff meeting was held on September 10th.

With this in mind, we solicited themes from all research and development fields. Out of a large number of applications, we selected the above four applicants based on their unique points of view and drive toward research.
Through this initiative, Daicel and Leave a Nest will actively support future researchers who are full of curiosity and are eager to take on challenges.
