The new future TV “ABEMA” will broadcast the first full episode of the new summer anime “Tenho no Sakunahime” at 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 29, 2024, the day after the final episode airs, for free.
“Sakunahime of Tenho” is an anime work based on the Japanese-style action RPG of the same name released in 2020. In this work, the catchphrase is “Rice is power!”, and the story is about Sakunahime, the god who governs the fertility of crops. The story depicts an exhilarating action story in which a man grows up through rice cultivation and confronts the demons that rule Hinoe Island. The original work quickly became a hot topic, with simulation elements that deeply recreated Japan’s ancient rice growing experience, and was said to be a huge hit, earning it the nickname “Reiwa’s rice riot.” The first TV anime broadcast will start from July 2024, and just like the original, the story realistically depicting the fun and difficulty of rice cultivation and the battle action with demons are gaining popularity, as well as collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
