Meanwhile, in February 2015, NTT West launched the “Hikari Collaboration Model,” which provides wholesale optical access services, and has been working with a variety of service providers to create new value. Against this background, TV Yatsushiro and NTT West have launched an optical access service with the aim of quickly providing comprehensive broadcasting and
communication services to customers in some areas of Yatsushiro City. We have entered into this collaboration with the aim of converting TV and Shiro broadcasting services to optical fibers and expanding optical access services. 2. Overview of collaboration TV Yatsushiro will utilize NTT West’s optical access service to provide cable TV broadcasting, the Internet, and telephone services to the FLET’S Hikari service area in Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto Prefecture, as well as provide cable TV broadcasting, the Internet, and telephone services to the FLET’S Hikari service area in Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto Prefecture.
