The lively event “Gotanda Desitanda!! 2024” is being held for the second time since last year, with the aim of creating liveliness in conjunction with the Kiko Shrine annual festival, which is a local Shinto ritual held in early October every year. This is a local event sponsored by the Nishigotanda Hifumi Town Association (Nigiwai Event Executive Committee). This event not only creates a lively atmosphere, but also utilizes the area’s attractive features, such as the cherry blossom tree-lined road running east-west through the center of the area and the entrance on the first floor of the Pola Gotanda Building, as spaces where people can play, learn, and relax. The purpose is also to provide an opportunity to think about future urban development in the area.
