Hakone Retreat fore & villa 1/f will hold its first Halloween event since opening in Hakone, surrounded by rich nature. At “WOODSIDE Dining,” a restaurant where you can enjoy wood-fired dishes, you can enjoy the “Witch’s Poison Apple and Maitake Mushroom Broom,” which uses Maitake mushrooms to resemble a witch’s broom, as well as mozzarella cheese with the scent of wood and bat-shaped black biscuits. We have prepared Halloween menus that are not only delicious but also visually appealing, such as “Hanabiratake Wood-grilled Mozzarella Bat Biscuits” and “Pumpkin Gnocchi” made with plenty of pumpkin, an indispensable Halloween ingredient. In addition, to make the Halloween season more vivid in Hakone, we will be holding a “Pumpkin Hollowing Contest” with 15 chefs participating. The TOP3 will be decided through voting by guests and staff from October 18th (Friday) to October 20th (Sunday). Pumpkins that will make you want to take pictures as a memento of Halloween will be on display at the museum until October 31st (Thursday), making the Halloween atmosphere even more exciting.
